Mother Tree at Four Corners

The Mother Tree is positioned in the center of Maya’s Farm. Artists Joan Baron and Gloria Martinez-Granados chose this location to create a multi-dimensional and interactive art installation during Art Detour 2021. Our tree and sound (crystal healing bowls) interventions invited individuals to spend time in our space for reflection, healing, and Earthing.
Departing from the conventional gallery space, we chose this open and inspiring location to promote transformational awareness around social change. We value and respect what Maya’s Farm represents. We believe everyone should have access to healthy, seasonally grown foods. Everyone should have access to clean water. Small farms should be supported in all ways possible; to grow and prosper for the betterment of all.
