Feast on the Street, Downtown Phoenix – 2013

Baron Studio was invited by artist /curator Clare Patey to design centerpieces for Feast on the Street Phoenix.

This event brought community together around a half-mile long dining table that transformed First street into a pedestrian promenade in celebration of food and art in the desert.

The title of the Installation “ Elbow Grease”, honors and is dedicated to all the people whose knowledge of the land and whose labor in the fields provides us with nutritional foods and medicinal plants. They are the ones who put years of “elbow grease” into their work.  The ceramic bowls, placemats and creosote became the “center pieces” for the event.
